“Each project presents a new set of challenges and when seen in a positive light, they turn into interesting possibilities that shape the built environment and play an important role in our daily lives.”
Growing up in Gibraltar, a British Overseas Territory on the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula, Jonathan’s interest in architecture grew from a life-long passion for drawing and sketching. As a student who excelled in both art and mathematics in school, he was also influenced by a childhood neighbor who was an architect - a “noble” career path, according to Jonathan. Fluent in both English and Spanish, Jonathan manages the Miami office and specializes in healthcare projects. He works with both national and international clients, planning and designing millions of square feet of healthcare facilities over his nearly two-decade long career. Jonathan places an emphasis on building strong relationships and is constantly evaluating lessons learned to incorporate into his work and leadership style. He still loves to draw and paint to this day and is also an avid sports fan.
