LA Rams Headquarters A Homecoming Touchdown

Agoura Hills (Los Angeles), California, USA

The Challenge

HKS designers were challenged to herald the Los Angeles Rams’ homecoming by designing an office that celebrates the team’s core values. As one of the world’s most valuable franchises, the space needs to authentically display their core values to both employees and visitors.

The Design Solution

Designed to capture the spirit of the team and its fans, the office exhibits the same clean aesthetics and brilliant styling as the team’s Inglewood stadium, scheduled for completion in 2019. A large meeting room resembles a stadium VIP lounge and the employee dining area is designed in the same vein as a VIP suite. Since most of the space is exposed from the floor to the deck above, designers utilized sound masking to control acoustics. A central bar, inspired by another within the team’s new stadium, allows the Rams to host employee events that are visible from every corner of the office’s open, transparent floor plan. Completed in August 2016, the 20,000 square foot (1,858 sm) space in Agoura Hills features workstations with sit/stand desks, and a Rams-branded broadcast studio enables the team to create professional video productions on-site whenever inspiration strikes.

The Design Impact

After spending two decades in St. Louis, the Los Angeles Rams return to the City of Angels with a landmark stadium and a corporate office in sync with the team’s aspirations. One of the project’s best success stories was completing the project in five months from the day HKS initially met with the client until the day the client occupied the space.
