HKS Named One of Top Architecture Firms by Building Design+Construction
HKS claimed third place overall out of 156 architecture firms on Building Design+Construction’s 2020 Giants 400 Report, which annually rank’s the nation’s top architecture firms for nonresidential and multifamily work. HKS also garnered top spots in several specific sector categories, ranking second in Health Care, Sports Facilities and Hospitality.
“2019 was an exceptional year for HKS”, said Dan Noble, HKS President and CEO. “The investments we’ve made to diversify our global practice are reaping benefits. In the last several years, we’ve deepened our Advisory, Interiors, Mission Critical and Life Science practices and entered new markets like Senior Living. This has helped HKS build resilience and position us to emerge from the COVID-19 crisis stronger than ever.”
Among the top projects for HKS in 2020 were the opening of SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, California and Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas; the Marcus Tower at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta; Taikang Tongji International Hospital in Wuhan, China; Live! by Loews in St. Louis and the Grand Hyatt Nashville.
HKS’ third-place overall recognition is a gratifying conclusion to what has been a challenging year for the 1,350-person global architecture and design firm as well as the entire architecture, engineering and construction industry.
