Introducing a New Preparedness Tool for Health Organizations
The COVID-19 pandemic uncovered the need for widespread disaster planning within hospitals, from high-level management to the individuals on each floor. HKS research shows that all players — from front desk security to the cleaning crew — need to know how they fit into the overall response long before a disaster arrives at the door. HKS Advisory Services created a Critical Event Preparedness Tool to help hospital leaders get a head start on disaster response so they can swiftly and effectively switch into and out of response mode when the time comes.
