Omni New York, Bob’s Steak and Chophouse Classic Design — Just in Time

The Challenge

The HKS design team was tasked with renovating a classic New York City steakhouse by the start of the 2016 holiday season.

The Design Solution

A bar area faces the street and invites guests and tourists into an upscale environment rivaling the best in New York, but consistent with Bob’s nationwide brand. The new restaurant features a dark double height dining room, clad in wood and lined with a display featuring an extensive wine collection.

The Design Impact

The new restaurant brought in an additional $1 million in revenue and continues to see growth in its clientele, half of whom are Omni hotel guests.
