HKS Achieves Equality 100 Award for Second Year in a Row
HKS is proud to announce that it has received the prestigious Equality 100 Award on the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 2025 Corporate Equality Index. The honor recognizes the firm as an inclusive workplace supporting LGBTQ+ individuals and families throughout the last year. HKS first achieved the distinction in 2024.
The Corporate Equality Index is a “national benchmarking tool on corporate policies, practices and benefits pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer employees,” according to the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. The Equality 100 award is given to companies that score all 100 possible points on a range of criteria including workforce protections, benefits, organizational culture and corporate social responsibility.
The Equality 100 Award is a testament to the firm’s dedication to its people, according to Ashli Pettigrew, HKS’ Director of Social Equity.
“This is an immense honor, and one that illuminates the many ways in which HKS is a people-first organization. We are committed to providing a supportive environment for LGBTQ+ employees and their families. To be recognized with this award reaffirms that we are creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to thrive,” said Pettigrew.
