About Us

At HKS San Francisco, our focus is on clients and the long-term relationships that we build as project partners. We design within a team environment to yield the highest results, and our portfolio of hospitality, interior design, urban, mixed-use, multifamily residential, commercial and aviation projects includes the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay Resort, 50 United Nations Plaza, Constellation Brands’ headquarters and more. As active members of the community, we are engaged with organizations such as the Housing Action Coalition, the Urban Land Institute, the Bay Area Council and Project Homeless Connect. All are groups that promote solutions to urban issues such as homelessness, affordable housing and the creation of vibrant and safe environments. From the work we do to the people we hire, an alignment of values is paramount as we seek to create meaningful relationships and high-quality work.

HKS' Holly Arnold Questions Whether Architectural Design is Getting in the Way of Affordable Housing

Don Harrier

Architecture balances aesthetics and function. If orchestrated in a collaborative and inclusive fashion, the results can enhance the lives and community of those who experience it, inside and out.
