Jajalpa Office Park
Ocoyoacac, Mexico

Jajalpa is a sustainable office park with a verdant connection to the surrounding landscape and communities. The building’s location, efficient floor plan and commercial services differentiate it from other real estate offerings in the Mexico City region. When construction is completed in 2019, the Jajalpa Office Park will be connected to Mexico City and Toluca by a brand-new commuter train route.

Defined by surrounding green spaces and water features, a manicured park serves as the building’s main entrance, and offices will look out over the tree tops, toward the nearby mountains. The park also serves as a backdrop for casual meetings and outdoor dining. A feature staircase encourages users to be more active, while also providing illumination for the park at night.

Designed to achieve a minimum of LEED Gold certification, more than 80 percent of the building’s materials are sourced from local suppliers, and 90 percent of the water is reused on-site for irrigation and other needs. The park, dining and retail amenities encourage community engagement, while also providing space for local commerce to develop. A concrete and glass skybridge will connect the first phase of Jajalpa to the office park’s future buildings.
