“As a constructions services project manager, you must concentrate and maintain four aspects that lead to a successful project: relationships, quality, schedule and cost. They are just as important individually as they are together.”
Ray always wanted to be an architect. He found that working in construction services provides him with the opportunity to be a part of the architectural design process in a hands-on way, to meet and work with a lot of different people and to be out on job sites most of the time. “I’m able to play an integral part in the design and construction of some fantastic, complex projects,” Ray shares. Managing mostly healthcare projects, he receives satisfaction from knowing that he is part of something that is improving the lives of the people in that community. With more than 27 years of experience, Ray is responsible for procedures and methods required to attain project design objectives through construction phase contract administration. He also maintains the necessary communications among the owner, contractor and architect. As a construction services resource manager, Ray mentors and educates employees on various areas of construction services.
