“My three M’s of hospitality architecture: make it memorable, make it easy to operate and make it an enjoyable process.”
Mike has a keen understanding of the architectural process. From his first summer job as a teenager mowing lawns in Wichita Falls, Texas, he learned from his favorite (but demanding) client – a local architect – the delight of distinctive architecture and the value of quality service. He continues to learn from his clients today. As project manager specializing in the hospitality sector for over 20 years, he has the ability to deliver the right services at the right time, whether assembling the best design team or coordinating a multitude of consultants. A consummate architect, Mike understands the project’s design and construction goals as well as the financial scope. His experience covers a wide range of project types in addition to hospitality, including corporate headquarters, retail, healthcare, entertainment and recreational facilities. As principal and project manager, he has been responsible for managing more than 50 projects totaling more than $1 billion in construction. In his 39-year career, Mike has managed many of the firm’s complex, multi-phased projects.
