About Melanie

Raised by a mother who worked as a bridal consultant, Melanie was inspired at an early age by how personal her mother made her professional career. “She really helped me understand the importance of relationships in business,” says Melanie.  “My career has changed my life in so many ways, and I love all the people I’ve gotten to meet.” An early job opportunity at Holiday Inn’s corporate office led to her first interaction with architects and designers, thus paving the way for a profession in the A/E industry. Melanie has been actively involved in the Central Florida business community for more than 29 years, with an emphasis on client advocacy and service. “I have a real passion for economic development,” Melanie says. She is driven by the strategy behind very complex pursuits. Winning a complicated airport or institutional contract is one of Melanie’s greatest rewards, bringing her relationship-building and community outreach work full circle. “It’s important to me, both personally and professionally, to be an investor in my community and to develop personal relationships.”
