About Jane
Jane enjoys seeing a project through from the initial briefing and concept design stages, to project construction and delivery. As a principal lead on clinical design, her knowledge and approach focuses her abilities on developing the integration of concept and functionality, together with an emphasis on the human experience aspects of healthcare buildings. Her expertise in translating the users’ vision and aspirations into effective, efficient and functional spaces has been applied to a diverse range of project scales and typology, ranging from large-scale major teaching hospitals, community ambulatory centres and diagnostic care centres to private healthcare clinics.
Jane has particular interest in researching the design of operating theatre suites, diagnostic spaces and translational research facilities, to understand how the highly technical spaces can be enhanced to provide a reassuring environment for the patient.
