Evelyn Reyers, AIA, EDAC, LSSGB, LEED AP

“Designing comfortable and functional spaces that provide an environment for reassurance and control for patients, families and caregivers – that’s my passion.”

About Evelyn

As a cancer survivor, Evelyn’s vantage point as a hospital patient informs her work as a senior medical planner.  “How the hospital staff treated me, with such dignity and respect, made an incredible difference in my stress level.  I assure you, it helped me heal,” she says.  “I have an extra eye on the care giver, creating spaces so hospital staff can be their best every day.”  Evelyn most enjoys working directly with user groups – physicians, nurses, administrators – and ensuring their input is integrated into best practices, clinical requirements and evidence-informed design elements for a range of projects, and in particular, large and complex facilities.  She loves to delve deep and work with teams visioning and planning pediatric and teaching hospitals, medical and research centers, and cancer treatment facilities.
