We’re not your father’s HKS … we’re much more. We are embracing our past and looking toward the future. Let’s ask questions and share what we learn, but not just with the architectural, engineering and construction industry. We’re reaching out, talking with our communities, our regions and the world. As architects, we understand that the impact of what we do is interwoven into the very fabric of society and culture. We’re at a crucial point. Let’s not become a commodity.

To continue the conversation, we are asking ourselves “How is our industry different?” “Where is our industry going?” “Where do we want to be?” I believe we need to think big but act small. “Do you want to be a vendor or do you want to be a leader?” If you want to be a leader, you have to think about what clients need. What does the industry need?  What does society need? Join us for more discussion and interaction on this topic.
