HKS, Inc. is the sixth-largest architectural engineering firm in the United States, ranked by annual revenue for 2014, according to Building Design+Construction (BD+C) magazine’s 2015 Giants 300 Report. 

The firm was also ranked in many of the report's other categories (noting many categories are not published to date).

  • Top healthcare sector architecture firms – No. 4
  • Top green building sector architecture firms – No. 5
  • Top BIM architecture firms – No. 7
  • Top office sector architecture firms – No. 14
  • Top reconstruction sector architecture firms – No. 15 

According to the 2015 BD+C report, economists expect spending for nonresidential construction to rise in 2015 by somewhere in the 6.4 to 7.7 percent range. They believe construction spending should remain strong in 2016 before tailing off in the following two or three years.
