Michelle Carroll, SPHR, is passionate about serving people, believing Human Resources is a strategic partner within the business of architecture. She recently joined HKS as director of human resources.
Carroll is a performance-driven, creative human resources (HR) professional with more than 12 years of broad experience in management, generalist and recruiting roles. She has provided strategic HR leadership in implementing firm-wide policies, procedures and practices to maximize investment in human capital with international firms such as Grant Thornton, LLP; Lane Gorman Trubitt, LLP and Syntroleum Corporation.
“After spending more than 10 years as an HR business partner in both the accounting and oil and gas arenas, I’m thrilled to expand my horizons working alongside the creative leadership at a firm with such a rich legacy as HKS,” said Carroll.
She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational and Interpersonal Communications and is licensed as a Professional in Human Resources (2003) and a Senior Professional in Human Resources (2010). She’s a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and the HR-arm of the AIA Large Firm Roundtable.
