This year, HKS was invited to participate in the 2nd Annual Wine & Design Fundraiser for The Common Thread for the Cure Foundation. HKS, along with numerous Interior Design and Architectural Firms throughout Orange County, California were asked to submit two wine label designs that demonstrated the message of breast cancer awareness, while incorporating the event theme of: Vintage Hollywood. The winner of the wine label design would be granted the opportunity to have their winning label on either a white or red bottle of Russian River Vineyards wine for one year. The HKS team was thrilled to be able to contribute to and be a part of such a meaningful cause. In a collaborative effort, the team managed to produce a unique and creative label. Cindy Finamore hand drew images of both Marilyn Monroe and Audrey Hepburn, with the intention of displaying two influential Hollywood actresses who stand not only as a representation of old Hollywood glamour, but also the modern woman. Julie Kurdyla helped design the graphics of the label to complete our design and final submission.
